About This Opportunity
InComm is seeking a Systems Engineer, MFT for the Enterprise Storage Systems team in the Atlanta office. The MFT Engineer has a primary task is to provide enterprise-level secure file transfer for internal and external customers.
Collaborate with customers and business partners to collect systems and business requirements; provide advanced technical support to the MFT users.
Maintain and troubleshoot custom business processes, Services and Service Configurations, system settings and properties.
Closely work with the IT Operations team, Application teams, Change Management, Release Management and Quality Assurance departments.
Document and write technical procedures. Configure complex file exchange logics using GlobalScape File Gateway and other MFT, FTP, and SFTP solutions.
Configure complex workflows utilizing scripting and logics for multi-tenant file exchange services.
Ensure security standards are fully enabled at all times.
Ensure proper security certificate management procedures are followed.
Develop procedures for automation of payloads into and out of environment.
Develop cross platform integration and mapping for file exchange processes.
Provide process governance across all file exchange ecosystem.
Provides trouble resolution on complex problems.
Serves as an escalation point for the most complex systems issues or resolutions.
Develops root cause analysis activities that resolve significant system issues.
Provides advanced trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
Represents major upgrades and business system replacements in change control.
Develops reports supporting strategy and direction for management.
Acts as a subject matter expert among peers, with manager and senior management.
7x24 operational support requirement.
On Call Rotation for Incident Response as needed.
- Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
5 + years working with application server based technologies.
Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX (Solaris, HPUX) and LINUX and shell script design.
Strong Knowledge of Enterprise Application and Business-to-Business Integration.
Experience with Java/ J2EE preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Experience with Communication Protocols: FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTP/S, AS1, AS2, AS3, VAN, etc.
Data definition, data control, and transactional control.
Operating System skills ln Windows Server.
