Primary Responsibilities:Initiate problem solving for new product designs and as well as existingproductsUnderstand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with SNCpolicies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirementsOriginate specifications, control documents, verification and validationplans, procedures, reports, and other documentation in support of designand development activitiesPrepare material for, and conduct, periodic design reviewsExecute engineering design and development activities consistent with Customerquality, cost and schedule requirementsParticipate in design integration with customer requirements and industrystandardsMaintains logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipmentAssemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components accordingto engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronicsResponsible for the design and development of units from concept throughqualificationAdditional Responsibilities:Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hoursOther duties as assignedCompliance Responsibilities:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)Essential Functions:Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, asdefined by managementJob Requirements:BS in related field.Current DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance3+ years of related experienceExperience with (fixed wing) Military or Commercial aircraft modificationspreferredKnowledge of interface and design documentation such as Functional blockdiagramsPCB design, layout, and fabrication documentation skillsStrong communication and inter-personal skillsIMPORTANT NOTICEThis position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
