Kforce has a client in search of a Apps Systems Engineer 6 in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC).Essential Job Functions:

• Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives

• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs

• Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors

• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing

• Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts

• Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process

• Help in drafting Functional Specification for Machine Learning Platform and its use cases

• Help drafting data science usage of Machine Learning Platform

• Interface with data scientists to collect functional requirements

• Interface with AI and ML Architecture team to draft architecture

• Interface with System of Records and Data sources to define the data needs and data quality needs for Data Science needs

• Document high level testing requirements and key success factors

• Development of Python or R code

• 10 years application development and implementation experience.

• Minimum of 6 years of BA experience

• Minimum of 2 years of BA experience in BI, Machine Learning, Data Science space

• Prior experience as business analyst in a data science and machine learning environment - must have

• Prior experience as business analyst in a data related project or a BI project - must have

• Prior experience in interfacing with end users, systems architects, DBAs, systems support engineers and other horizontal teams

• Any hands-on experience in technology would be added benefit

• Must have written Business Requirement, Functional Specification, Architectural Specification, Test Plan, Deployment Plan etc.

• Expert in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel Awareness of Python, R, H2O tools for Data Science Data Science concepts and usage of past BI experience
