Electrical Engineer - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Lynchburg, VA

Responsibilities include:

  • Program PLC systems with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar

  • Utilizing CAD (Microstation or similar) package to design complex electrical systems supporting plant electrical infrastructure and/or production equipment

  • Support both Facilities and Plant Equipment

  • Work with high and low voltage 69kV- 5V

  • Assist maintenance groups with equipment issues

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school is required

  • 3 years’ experience preferred but not mandatory

  • Experience in either controls or power applications desired

  • Electrical CAD design desired

  • Experience with Switchgear desired

  • Must be proficient in the use of PCs and Microsoft products
