Job Description

Within Drivers Assistance development of Ultrasonic Based Systems, this role is responsible for design, developing and perform Vehicle Tests.

  • Conduct Requirements Analysis and highlight deviations and risks for new business quotes.

  • Participate/support Customer demonstrations.

  • Analyse functional requirements in DOORS.

  • Link requirements to System Test specification.

  • Provide effort estimates for work packages and improve accuracy in estimates.

  • Implement/develop Vehicle Test Cases per Requirements and track effort.

  • Perform in Vehcle Tests for release.

  • Generate Test Reports for Release notes.

  • Conduct/participate in Test plan reviews, as needed.

  • Support Application and calibration development.

  • Check-in work into the defined Configuration Management system regularly.

  • Create baseline for all major releases.

  • Setup a vehicle test environment and define new requirements, if needed.

  • Execute test plan and produce report shared with customer. Support System validation effort.

  • Follow change management process and provide input re: impact on schedule and costs.

  • Provide updates to upper Management and Program Managers. Participate and present in project review meetings.

  • Maintain a good information exchange with System/Software-Team and Application team in a global environment


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering preferred.

  • 3 - 5+ years of embedded software experience.

  • Requirements analysis, managing requirements and design, development and testing..

  • Embedded control system design.

  • System level vehicle SW testing using HW in the loop simulator.

  • Vehicle electrical architecture, such as CAN, Flexray or J1850.

  • Knowledge of Process Models like ASPICE.

  • Experience working with global teams.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to understand embedded software (C and assembly)

  • Ability to understand schematics and mechanical drawings

  • Working knowledge of CANape and CANoe

  • Hands-on engineer,

  • Quality driven mindset
