BAE Systems Systems Engineer in San Diego, California
BAE Systems is looking for an Systems Analyst/Systems Engineer. The qualified candidate will work in a rapid integration and testing environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks ranging from System and Software requirements assessment, System and Software Integration and Test, to include customer site support activities, Help Desk support, and shipboard test and evaluation activities. The integration and test tasks involve all aspects of hardware and software integration up to and including the planning and conduct of formal systems test activities at contractor, customer and/or deployed sites. Tasking may also include fly-away support to various CONUS locations working in concert with various Naval assets. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with platforms and mission applications for intelligence and defense customers with domain emphasis on Geospatial Intelligence, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and Mission Management.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience.
US Citizenship with anactive SECRETclearanceandability to be granted a TS/SCIclearanceby the Federal Government
Engineer solid system administration and engineering experience on the Windows platform
Strong understanding of storage, networking, and OS provisioning
Hands-on expertise with debugging experiences in Windows system administration
Proficiency in Windows system security and patch management
Strong Understanding of computer hardware and hardware troubleshooting experience
Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor of Science degree
8 -10 years of Operating Systems (Windows and .Net)
Development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, and/or Iterative)
Architecture (e.g., Web Services and/or SOA)
Basic understanding of Software Security
